Meet the Team

With less than a week until the championship it's about time we introduce the team. A Kubb team has six players, but subs can swap frequently. There are seven players in our team.

Michael Petch – Team Captain
Michael first played Kubb 8 years ago in Sweden and has introduced the game to the team over the past two years.
Key position: Medium range and Kubb grouping.

Patrick 'Paddy' Leese
The youngest member of the team is also one of the most competitive. His focus is sure to calm the team.
Key position: Currently working wonders grouping the Kubbs.

Sam Feighery
Bringing power to the team, be sure to step back when Sam steps up.
Key position: Triple and quadruple chances as well as back line long distance shots.

Jay Makwana
jay's 'bomb drop' type throw took over a year to develop but now it's deadly.
Key position: long range bull’s-eyes.

Chris Snell
Watch out for this guy - unusual tactics are his speciality.
Key position: medium range shots.

Rod Chisholm
Rod’s good knock down average makes him a natural inclusion to the team.
Key position: Close to medium shots.

Phil McGarty
Our Manchester import, Phil brings a fresh view to our tactical choices.
Key position: All rounder.
